WAITSTAFF:
min 1+ years of relevant experience in the industry.
You are confident with customer engagement; including greeting guests, ability to learn and discuss food and beverage menu, taking orders and serving guest.
You have previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant, bistro, or hotel.
You can work closely with kitchen and bar staff.
You have an understanding of setting and clearing tables to a high standard, managing multiple tables in one service, and pre-empting the guests needs.
You have experience using point-of-sales machines, taking payment.
You ideally have a keen interest in wine, wine pairings and can work with the Sommelier to provide exceptional service.
BARBACK:
You have a keen interest in liquor, spirits and cocktails with a goal of learning to bartend. You will be responsible for:
Restocking: Liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, garnishes, and other bar supplies.
Cleaning: Maintaining a clean bar area, including washing glassware, wiping down surfaces, and clearing tables.
Preparation: Preparing garnishes, such as slicing fruit or making cocktail ingredients.
Assisting Bartenders: Helping bartenders with tasks during busy periods, such as retrieving supplies or assisting with drink preparation.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the bar and surrounding areas are clean and presentable, including sweeping, mopping, and clearing bins.
